Como soy fotoint\u00e9rprete, yo sab\u00eda lo que buscaban. En la estancia donde est\u00e1bamos alojados hab\u00eda un galp\u00f3n lleno de ca\u00f1os de cloacas de PVC negros y se me ocurri\u00f3 utilizarlos para simular ca\u00f1ones ya que no contaba con artiller\u00eda\u00bb, recuerda el militar retirado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De esta manera, armaron una posici\u00f3n de defensa con piezas de artiller\u00eda simuladas que, todas las noches, era bombardeada por los ingleses, mientras los integrantes de la compa\u00f1\u00eda se encontraban a resguardo, muy lejos de ese lugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cada ma\u00f1ana, reparaban los da\u00f1os de la noche, repon\u00edan las piezas de artiller\u00eda, rellenaban los tambores con combustible para que explotaran ante las bombas inglesas, cambiaban las posiciones de los tubos de PVC y cubr\u00edan todo con redes de enmascaramiento. \u00abEso nos salvo la vida\u00bb, asevera con convicci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abSeg\u00fan datos ingleses, recibimos m\u00e1s de 3.000 ca\u00f1onazos y, gracias a los blancos simulados, volvimos sin bajas, solo con dos heridos\u00bb, se\u00f1ala orgulloso de su regimiento que, en un principio, contaba con 130 hombres, pero se fue incrementando hasta llegar a m\u00e1s de 200, con sobrevivientes que llegaban de otras posiciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sobre el d\u00eda de la rendici\u00f3n, recuerda: \u00abMe llamaron por radio desde Puerto Argentino y me dijeron que al d\u00eda siguiente deb\u00eda presentarme en una fragata inglesa para coordinar el regreso al continente, con todo nuestro equipo y armamento\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando se present\u00f3 ante los militares ingleses, le preguntaron si ten\u00eda heridos entre sus filas para enviarle apoyo sanitario. \u00abCuando les dije que no, se sorprendieron y me dijeron: &#8216;\u00bflos bombardeamos durante todas las noches y no tienen heridos?&#8217;. No lo pod\u00edan creer\u00bb, recuerda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minorini Lima contin\u00faa el relato: \u00abEntonces, el militar ingl\u00e9s me pregunta: \u00bfpero al menos le destru\u00ed los ca\u00f1ones? Cuando le cont\u00e9 que no ten\u00eda artiller\u00eda y que eran ca\u00f1ones simulados, puso una cara de asombro incre\u00edble, y enseguida llam\u00f3 al oficial de artiller\u00eda a cargo del bombardeo de todas las noches para que le contara\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a1Lo que le costaron a la Reina esos ca\u00f1ones!\u00bb, le dijo el oficial, entre risas y el asombro de los militares ingleses por la picard\u00eda de los argentinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los integrantes de la Compa\u00f1\u00eda de Ingenieros 9 se encuentran todos los a\u00f1os, para el feriado del 12 de octubre, en alg\u00fan punto del pa\u00eds como una \u00abcita de honor\u00bb<br>\u00abFueron soldados de fierro. Se aguantaron 3.000 ca\u00f1onazos y no afloj\u00f3 ninguno\u00bb, remarca Minorini Lima, en un aniversario \u00abdoloroso y especial\u00bb mientras revisa fotos de los d\u00edas en las islas que lo
